Ian Thomas

Ian Thomas

Ian Thomas was born in London. As a twelve-year-old schoolboy, he accepted Christ as Savior into, and when he turned fifteen, he decided to devote his whole life to serving Christ. At the University of London, he led the Evangelical Brotherhood and tirelessly testified to people about God — even when he was on vacation.

Extraordinarily active, at the age of nineteen he suddenly felt spiritually exhausted, believing that he had worked in vain. At this time, it came an epiphany. The Lord told him: "For seven years you will be living for Me that life that I must live through you. "In 1947, Ian Thomas, whose ministry is now known throughout the Christian world, founded the Torchbearers Missionary Society in the town of Cappernurey (Lancashire, England). There is also a Bible School and an International Center with branches in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the United States, Japan and other countries.
