Alister E. McGrath

Alistair McGrath is the Andreas Idreos Professor of Science and Religion at the University of Oxford, and Director of the Ian Ramsey Center for Science and Religion. He holds doctorates from Oxford University in natural history, intellectual history and Christian theology. McGrath is the author of many works on the interaction between science and Christian theology. He is the author of such works as “Simply Discipleship”, “Simply Apologetics”, and also the book “Clive Staples Lewis. The man who gave the world Narnia,” which received a number of literary awards. In addition, McGrath worked as professor of theology at Gresham, London's first institution of higher learning, founded in 1597. Today, his department promotes the public application of theology to the most important issues of our time.
