Al Lacy was a bestselling author who wrote more than ninety historical and Western novels. His many works include the Angel of Mercy, Battles of Destiny, and Journeys of the Stranger series.
JoAnna Lacy was his wife and longtime collaborator. She worked with Al on the Hannah of Fort Bridger and Mail Order Bride series, as well as other historical and Western novels. The Lacys made their home in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
