Dr. Purdom received her Ph. D. (Molecular Genetics) from Ohio State University. At one time she worked as an assistant and assistant professor in the Department of Biology at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. Dr. Purdom leads the teaching materials department for the Answers in Genesis mission and lectures and writes articles throughout the mission.
